Math Research ABC: Calculus Derivative(Rate of Change) on Equity(Share)

Just ABC Research, please correct me if wrong.

We found the rate of change of a given function by finding its derivative.

Y = 6X+3

dy/dx = 6

Example

For this example, The data of Sales and Net Profit is get from financial statement on web.

From the graph plot, we can see that the equation for 

Nestle  Y = 0.1782X-145477

Hence, can say that RM1 change of Nestle sales generate 0.1782 of net profit. 

From the graph plot, we can see that the equation for 

Spritzer Y = 0.2842X-22015

Hence, can say that RM1 change of Spritzer sales generate RM0.2842 of net profit.
